MAZDA CERTIFICATION TRAINING
Train for a career in the Mazda dealer network.
DESIGN YOUR OWN CUSTOM PROGRAM
Partnership training programs can take your career to the next level. One of our newest programs is a certification program through Mazda North America.
The Mazda Automotive Student Training (MAST) program was designed and created with the intent to educate, train, and prepare automotive graduates with the skills necessary to excel as a technician at a Mazda dealership.
Mazda’s goal is for graduates of the MAST program to find successful, long-term careers and stability as certified technicians in the Mazda dealer network and beyond.
Upon being accepted into the MAST program, students must participate in online certification classes. During the last 2 months of schooling at Rosedale Tech, a student in the Mazda certification program will have the opportunity to begin working part-time at one of the participating Mazda dealerships in the area. While working in the field, the student will be paired with a senior mentor within the dealership for one-on-one training. Upon completion of the certification program and graduation from Rosedale Tech, students can enter the workforce as a Certified Senior Technician and transition into a full-time position within the participating Mazda dealership if mutually agreed upon between the dealership and the technician.
Why Should I Participate in the Mazda Program?
In addition to earning the title of Senior Technician Certified, the MAST program comes with several benefits, including:
- Up to $5,000 in tools post-graduation, paid out over two years, pending all MAST requirements are met.
- $15,000 tuition loan reimbursement (monthly payments over 3 years).
- The student will receive a minimum living wage for at least 6 months before moving to flat-rate pay.
- Students will receive Senior Technician Certification $1,000 bonus.
- The student will be eligible to purchase or lease a Mazda vehicle through the RPM DRIVE Program.
- The student will receive discount on tools.
- The student will receive 1:1 mentorship from a Senior/Master Technician.
*The amount of the grant funding cannot exceed the value of the tuition after all financial aid grants or gifts are applied.
All student benefits are contingent upon meeting MAST requirements, successfully graduating from Rosedale Tech’s automotive AST or diploma program and securing full-time employment at a participating Mazda dealership.
