COMMUNITY OUTREACH

ROSEDALE COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Rosedale Tech likes to incorporate philanthropic work into the school year through a number of activities. Periodically, students will have the opportunity to utilize their hands-on training in real-life scenarios to assist members of the community, which may include repairing or performing maintenance on a vehicle, servicing a furnace or air conditioner at an individual’s home, church, or other organization, providing electrical services for charitable causes, and more.

In addition, occasional fundraisers or T-shirt sales have taken place to raise funds for various causes.

Some of our regular charitable events include:

Vitalant Blood Drives

Rosedale Tech regularly hosts blood drives for Vitalant (formerly Central Blood Bank). Employees and students are encouraged to participate.

Toys from Techs

The faculty, staff and students at Rosedale Tech make a special effort every year to make the holiday truly a time of giving. A program called Toys from Techs was created to provide the children of Beverly’s Birthdays with year-round cheer.

Through the combined efforts of students, faculty and staff, toys are collected through the holidays and given to the charity to be given out throughout the year for the birthdays of local children experiencing homelessness.

We are continuously overwhelmed by the generosity and spirit of giving that exists within our own school. I want to personally thank everyone who contributes to this wonderful cause.
