Together, we have created an energizing and welcoming environment to help students feel at home while learning the hi-tech automotive skills that can help change their future. Students may even be able to get paid as they learn, with the #1 Cochran TECHcellence Program.

Get Paid While Learning Close to Home

Students accepted into the #1 Cochran TechEx Center at Rosedale for automotive or collision repair training also have the option to apply for the #1 Cochran TECHcellence Program.

Upon acceptance into the TECHcellence program, not only can students earn a part-time paycheck while receiving valuable hands-on training from #1 Cochran expert technicians, but they can also request the #1 Cochran facility where they would like to be mentored. Whether they want the location that’s most convenient or just want the opportunity to work with their favorite brand, #1 Cochran will do its best to make that happen.

With 19 domestic and imported new car brands, over 30 service centers and 11+ Body by Cochran collision centers throughout the region, there’s likely a #1 Cochran facility where students can earn and learn close to home. Take advantage of this rare opportunity to literally map out your own future.

TECHcellence graduates who demonstrate proficiency throughout the program have the opportunity to be hired as a front-line Service Tech at a #1 Cochran service or collision center.*

Pursue a Career In Automotive Technology

Being able to repair today’s sophisticated vehicles is a skill well within reach. It just takes proper training in a positive learning environment. That’s exactly what can be found at the #1 Cochran TechEx Center at Rosedale.

Students are trained using equipment common in the industry by well-qualified instructors with real-world experience and a genuine interest in helping students succeed. They don’t just teach the nuts and bolts of mechanical auto repair. They want to help students build confidence in their newly-acquired skills and be there to guide them as they make the transition from Rosedale Tech Student to Professional Technician.

The automotive technology degree program can be completed in as little as 16 months. An evening diploma program is also available that can be completed in as little as 18 months.

An Associate in Specialized Technology degree or diploma is awarded upon graduation.

Train to Become a Collision Repair Technician

While learning Collision Repair at Rosedale’s #1 Cochran TechEx Center, students are taught the problem-solving skills and tech-smart solutions that can help undo different types of collision damage.

Beyond that, the instructors work to make students feel welcome in the world of professional collision repair and help them develop skills needed to enter the workforce.

Through both classroom and lab experiences, students have the opportunity to work on vehicles with actual collision damage or restoration needs using equipment and technologies found in real work environments.

This program can be completed in 16 months.

An Associate in Specialized Technology degree is awarded upon graduation.

Students of both programs may apply for financial aid* and #1 Cochran scholarships.
