Al Danjou has been an instructor in the diesel technology program since March 2016. With over 37 years of experience Al shares a wealth of knowledge with the students.
He has worked on everything from troubleshooting to managing a shop. For seven years, Al ran his own repair shop. Al has experience working on all types of equipment from diesel trucks, to cars and motorcycles.
Outside of work, Al enjoys fishing, hunting shooting competitively, and barbecuing. He also loves to support and watch the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins.

What made you decide to get into the trades?
My neighbor had a repair shot and it got me interested in it.
What is something about you that a lot of people don’t know?
– I received my architectural engineering degree from the University of Pittsburgh
– I got married 3 years ago
– I am a twin
Knowing what you know now, what advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
Learn as much as you can. Never turn down an opportunity to learn something new.
What was your first job?
At 13, I was running a D8 dozer, while working to build PA Motor Speedway
