Smoke & Carbon Monoxide Detectors:
Take the time to make sure your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are in working order and have fresh batteries.
Check & Replace Batteries in Flashlights:
A flashlight with dead batteries isn’t very helpful in an emergency. Make sure your flashlights have fresh batteries.
Review Your Car’s Servicing & Inspection Record:
When’s the last time you had your car serviced and/or inspected? It might be time to take a trip to see your mechanic.
Cooling System Check:
Early spring is the perfect season to ensure your air conditioning unit is in working order before the summer squelch. And the air filter might be the single most important thing a homeowner can stay on top of when it comes to HVAC health.
Clean Dryer Hoses & Vents:
Lint lodged in the vent pipes, the space behind the dryer, and ducts outside your home is often the cause of dryer fires. Be sure to clean these out!
