Introducing to New Programs
We are excited to announce that after a recent visit the PA Department of Education gave a verbal approval for Rosedale to offer two new programs. The new programs: Applied Business Management and Industrial Technician will be a welcome addition to the plethora of programs currently being offered. Part of our mission has always been to help fuel a growing economy by training and equipping students to be an invaluable asset to an employer. With these two new programs; which are fields in high demand, Rosedale will be able to continue our high rate of success.
Applied Business Management
Students who choose the Applied Business Management program will be prepared with the fundamental business skills needed to start a new business or secure work in a variety of managerial or supervisory roles in business, commercial, or industrial opportunities. With extensive classroom instruction and practical training each student will obtain a strong foundation of business knowledge and management skills in order to:
- Develop short and long term business plans
- Make effective business decisions
- Manage organizational needs
Some of the employment opportunities available to the graduate in this program include but are not limited to:
- Entrepreneurs
- Shop Managers
- Financial Assistants
- Automotive Counter Managers
- Construction Mangers
- Field Managers
- Account Management Assistants
- Advertising Sales Agents
- Human Resource Assistants
Industrial Technician
Through classroom and lab experiences the student focused on being an Industrial Technician will be equipped with the skills to:
- Maintain and repair industrial equipment, automated systems, conveying systems and packing equipment.
- Install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, modify and move machinery
In addition, the curriculum will consist of a mixture of classroom instruction and hands-on training in the various phases of:
- Equipment Operations
- Electrical Components
- Mechanical Applications
- Hydraulic Systems
- Welding different control systems and repair/ Preventative maintenance operations
Employment opportunities for graduates in this program include but are not limited to:
- Industrial Maintenance Technician
- Mechanical Maintenance Technician
- Maintenance Specialist
- Operations Technician
Currently the Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that employment opportunities in both fields are expected to grow faster than average for all other occupations over the next 10 years. Individuals enrolled in either program will be able to earn an Associates Degree upon graduation. Rosedale anticipates both programs beginning later this year.
