Has your school recently closed? Are you relocating? Whatever your situation, you are probably looking to transfer credits. If Rosedale Technical College is the next step in education, here are a few of the most common questions we get. We hope that these are helpful in your journey to beginning the admissions process at Rosedale Technical College.

Will My Credits Transfer?

In order for your credits to be considered for transfer, you must have attended an accredited school and obtained and submitted an official transcript and course description. That means that not all credits will transfer.

It is recommended that you contact us as soon as you are considering a transfer. Our helpful staff is here to help you understand the transferring process. Give us a call with any questions you have!

How Is It Determined Which Credits Will Transfer?

If your school and credits fit the outline above, possible transfer credits are reviewed by the Education Department at Rosedale. Some minimal criteria include:

  • A “C” or higher grade
  • Closely related course objectives

If My Credits Are Eligible for Transfer, How Many Can I Transfer?

We have a maximum allowable credit of 50% of the total program for courses taken at another accredited school.

What Are the Steps to Transferring Credits?

To begin the process, contact an Admissions Representative by calling: (800) 521-6262.

Next, you will need to apply for your transfer credits to be accepted. This is the same application all new students go through. After applying, you will need to submit an official transcript and course descriptions (if accepted). Finally, you will meet with our Director of Education to finish out the process.

Our application process for transfer students is the same as with any other new student. You can start the process by clicking here.

What About Financial Aid?

Rosedale Technical College can accept financial aid for students who qualify. To find out how to transfer financial aid, contact our Financial Aid department for a one-on-one financial planning meeting.

Is There Any Additional Wait Time for Transfer Students?

No. There is no additional wait time for transfer students, however you will have to complete the same application process as all other new students.
