The Cost of Tuition is Your Only Important Factor?
We are usually NOT the cheapest option. Based on the strong recommendations our students give us, we think the Rosedale experience is well worth the investment. Plus, since we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) college, any extra funds stay and get reinvested into the school. But we are definitely not a cheap college.
You Prefer Online Education?
We were one of the first colleges in the area to get back to in-person learning. Our students and our faculty prefer to be live and in-person. We think that’s the best way to learn. We do have the capability to do effective virtual or online training when it’s appropriate, but we prefer to stay in person.
You Want to Coast Through Classes?
We expect our students to have a career focus. We expect our students to participate and learn by showing up and doing. There are tremendous opportunities for jobs in the skilled trades and we are here to prepare our students to make the most of those opportunities.
You Want to Sit Behind a Desk All Day?
While some of our graduates have gone on to use their technical skills behind a desk in an office setting, many of the jobs our employers are looking to fill require individuals who are ready to work hard in many different environments, such as but not limited to a large or small shop setting, inside residential homes, inside or on top of commercial and industrial buildings, in outdoor elements (cold temperatures or high heat), traveling across the country, or even underwater!

College or military, that’s what everyone was doing. That’s what we were told to do all through… school. When I came… to Rosedale, it was a different type of schooling. Because they are actually interested in what you’re learning… You’re not just being forced different subjects upon you. And once a week we are able to get hands-on… do projects out in the facility. Which really gave you a leg up when you went into interviews and they asked you ‘Now do you have any experience?

They will help you with your resume… I think the interview class here… it’s very valuable. They teach you how to sit down in a professional manner and talk to someone and highlight your skills… If you take that class and you do really well… you are going to have a great-paying job.
