What Does an HVAC Technician Do?

HVAC technicians play an integral role in supporting businesses and homeowners by installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. HVAC techs can work with climate control systems in residential and commercial buildings.

Since the number of commercial and residential buildings are growing and older homes are requiring upgraded systems, society will need more refrigeration, heating system, and air conditioning workers to meet the increasing demand, making this industry a rewarding and fast-paced career opportunity.

HVAC technicians have the opportunity to interact with and help customers. All of which can be done not sitting behind a desk.

What is the

HEAR FROM STUDENTS OF ROSEDALE

Everyone at Rosedale cares, and you know that by how they interact with the students and how they are eager to help. I never had a teacher for who I didn’t feel cared. Even the general education class teacher helped me test out so I could go to work to help my family.

In order to help facilitate a work-life balance, we offer a four-day school week. Daytime and evening programs are available in our HVAC program for those that wish to fit school in with their other daily obligations.
